What is Birdland?

Here, every gathering is an invitation to reconnect with what is essential.

Birdland Colombia is a refuge for body and soul in Cachipay, Cundinamarca. It is a family project devoted to healing experiences rooted in the Sikuani tradition, weaving together nature, master plants and ritual dance into deep processes of personal transformation.

Yopo Gathering

The Yopo Gathering is a communal space for self-discovery and deep reflection. The work is held with intention, respect and traditional accompaniment.

Danza Tsamanimonae Petaxunamuto

A living tradition of the Sikuani Kaliawirinae community. Led by Abuelo Clemente Gaitán alongside singers and members of the community, this danza is held three times a year over three days of immersion.

Since 2016 he has studied with Abuelo Clemente Gaitán in the practices of the Sikuani tradition and the use of master plants such as Yopo, Capi and Tabaco.

No. Everyone is welcome, whether this is your first time or you already have experience with processes of personal growth. Every gathering is guided with respect, care and accompaniment.

We suggest comfortable clothes, shoes suitable for walking in nature, a torch, toiletries, natural insect repellent, sun cream and any medication you take. Once your booking is confirmed you will receive a full list of recommendations.

Birdland is in Cachipay, Cundinamarca, Colombia, a few hours from Bogotá. Once your booking is confirmed we will send detailed directions for arriving by car or by public transport.

We have shared rooms and space for camping, surrounded by nature. The aim is somewhere simple and comfortable, in keeping with its setting, that makes rest and connection with nature easy.
